Installationsprobleme auf ein Pokini z 1gb RAM

Hello,

I'm trying to install the xg firewall (latest version) on my pokini z with 1gb RAM, but it aborts at 80% with the error message:"ERROR: Unable to install firmware".

What can it be?

Could it be that he only has 1GB of RAM?

You definitely do not want to run an XG on a 1GB System.

1GB is the minimum required for passing the installer, but it's definitely to less (I would even go for more than 2GB). Installer checks before starting the installation whether Hardware meets Requirements, so I guess in your specific Case this is not the Issue.

If the 1GB isn't, I wonder what it is.
Can it be that the WLAN built in disturbs?

I know that 1GB is not enough, I wanted to test it at home for the first time before I got another hardware.

In your Case, I would start to disable any Hardware not needed (Audio, Wifi etc.) in UEFI (except the two NICs). In past there were some issues with USB 3.0 Ports on some Devices... Maybe USB 3.0 can be disabled in your case.
