Is XG Firewall protected against Bad Rabbit ransomware?

As we have customers using XG firewall solution it is very important for us to know if they are protected agains Badrabbit

  • A very generic question? What version and what features do your customers have installed?

    Are they configured to allow flash updates only from approved sites? Are users restricted to the sites they can download updates from?

    It is not just the firewall that provides protection especially if you haven't configured the security levels in it.

  • Thank you for your reply, actually I was thinking that maybe XG would identify the web sources of the ransonware or it's signature and block it, our XG is used with FullGuard protection. We did not configure to allow or deny flash updates but users are not allowed to download anything (Web Protection).
