STAS portal is slowwwwww. Why?

Anyone know how to speed up the portal page for STAS? When a user signs onto the network, it takes several minutes before the portal page is displayed in a web browser. Meanwhile the user thinks they have no internet and it's broken.

    Hi Greg,

    I think there is some sort of misunderstanding. STAS is SSO when a user logs in to his system the User is considered as Live, the portal page appears when the User is not authenticated and needs to authenticate using the Captive Portal. I will direct you to the STAS KB article, which has all the information on how STAS works. There is an ongoing issue with MR-6 and STAS, I would suggest you to stick with the Captive Portal authentication.
