this depends on how your email server is configured. For example if the mail server has different URL per service, for example (owa.mail.com, imap.mail.com, smtp.mail.com) you can use web filters otherwise you cannot. You can try to have a look at Application filter and check if you find something that can match.

I have been viewing other articles in the community trying to get just Microsoft Active Sync to work.

So far no luck! What I can see in Log Viewer for WAF, are entries saying 502 status code. Is there a configuration out there that I can follow to get just ActiveSync working with Sophos XG 16.05 MR7?

Just to confirm, if I port forward 443 to internal email server all is well. But would like to protect better.

Steps are for UTM but XG uses UTM9 WAF module.

Unfortunately, I cant work it out.

There are settings referred to in UTM 9 that do not exist in XG. Also, I am trying to get it to work with Exchange 2003. Don't know if that makes a difference? Just push to iPhone. Not bothered about anything else right now (one thing at a time).
