webconsole not available after upgrade and clean installation- SFOS_16.05.2_MR-2-160

Just wondering if there any bug in the latest version (SFOS_16.05.2_MR-2-160).  I am unable to access the webconsole after an upgrade.  However, I have re-imaged with latest ISO and after applying port forwarding the webconsole is again not accessible.

I can, however, ping it.

I rebooted but still no luck.

Anyone else got the same problem?

thx,

  • Hi Hamidjan,

I also have a similar problem.

I upgraded firmware from SFOS_16.05.2_MR-2 to SFOS 16.05.3 MR-3, and I am unable to access the webconsole.

I can ping My XG and 8.8.8.8.

I want to downgrade firmware, but I don’t know how to downgrade firmware via CLI.

    Regards,

  • I believe there is some bug in the new release and it should be addressed by developers.

You can actually boot into your old firmware.    The steps are easy.

Switch On the UTM and keep tapping the ENTER key.   You will be given three options, one is for troubleshooting or resetting admin password and the other option 2-3 is for old firmware and new firmware. You can boot from your old firmware and wait until the Sophos fix the issue.

    thanks,

    Hamid
