  • Ahmad,

I remember a problem with RED if tunnel compression is enabled.

As we checked together, compression was enabled. Disabling it, it worked.

, do you know that if you enable compression on RED tunnels, the tunnel does not come up completely?

    Thanks

  • Dear lferrara

    thanks for your help

i disabled tunnel compression in all of my RED settings

    all sites working fine

  • Hi Luk,

Enabling data compression will compress all traffic that is sent through the RED tunnel. Data compression might increase the throughput of the RED appliance in areas with a very slow Internet connection such as 1-2 Mbps. However, any performance increase mainly depends on the entropy of the data being sent (for example, already compressed data such as HTTPS or SSH cannot be compressed any further). In some circumstances, it might therefore, be possible that enabling data compression could actually reduce the performance of the RED appliance. In that case, please disable data compression.

I would suggest Ahmad, raise a support case and investigate the issue in live. It would require deep packet inspection as to what causes the issue.

    Thanks
