Disable iView Integration

Hi John,

Sophos has released the Sophos Firewall Manager - SFMOS v16.05 GA in which your issue is covered. Please upgrade the SFM firmware.

There are two ways to upgrade SFM firmware :

1. Download the firmware package from MySophos and manually upgrade it.
2. Update the firmware using Sophos Up2Date technology from firmware page of SFM.

Hi Ravi,

Thanks for the heads up.  I updated but the issue for removing iView integration still exists.  In the release notes I'm not seeing anything addressing NCCC-4680.

Hi John,

I have checked the issue in lab SFM 16.5 GA version and i am able to delete the syslog server after disabling the iView integration in SFM.

Please check the issue once again. If you still face the issue then need to debug issue further.

Hi Ravi,

I ended up having to enable iView and then de-selecting the syslog server configured.  Once I did that I could disable iView (via checkbox) and save the configuration.

Once the syslog server was unbound from the iView configuration (regardless if it's disabled) I was able to send out a mass delete to clients.
