Live connections bandwidth not accurate

In Current Activities > Live Connections the bandwidth column is not accurate.

As you can see in the attached picture when expanding source IP address 192.168.50.2, it has 2 connections with a total download bandwidth of 50 KB/Sec but it only shows 25 KB/Sec

This give a false indication when I need to find out which host is using more bandwidth

HI AhmedMaher,

As per your Bandwidth Consumption on your system its 50MB/Sec . The value shown is an average of each connection . If you can check the session by clicking on the value , it would show 25+25 . Now on your browser it may show 50KBPS , if you could add the sessions it will result to 50KBps . The Downstream neext to the host address is an average download shown .

Eg session 1 is downloading 50kbps , session 2 35kbps and session 3 is 15kbps the average would be 33.33kbps .

Aditya Patel live connection page is very poor compared to UTM Flow Monitor.

Make sure you improve it. Many other vendors have a better live connection windows.

Its true that it does need some improvement as of now this feature is taken from Cyberoam OS, not UTM .

I'm going to add my vote to changing this as well.

When trying to troubleshoot a bandwidth issue, this is overly complicated. Simply make the closed/top value a TOTAL of all traffic for the IP address.

Additionally an option to choose between showing speed in bits per second and bytes per second would be great (considering all connections are always in bits per second, it would make sense to have this consistent - bits for speed, bytes for total data)

I agree, the live connections feature seems to be wrong all the time and needs some serious work.
