you are behind another router. Did you configured a DNAT on that device that forwards L2TP ports to XG wan interface?

Yes there is a full forward from the router to the wan interface of the Cyberoam

Hi Kevin,

Did you enter the PSK in the advance option of Security tab. What authentication algorithm did you configured to connect through L2TP to XG.

Go to Log Viewer> system > log Component > L2TP; and check what logs do you see here. Post a picture of the same.
