Does DHCP Relay work using a RED Tunnel?

I have a RED tunnel configured between 2 XG units but have been unable to pick up a IP address from my Windows DHCP server on the other side of the tunnel.

Can anyone confirm if this should work (I noted a option to tick if this was a IPsec VPN) and if so, what interface this needs to be bound against?

The firmware version is SFOS 16.01.1

Chris,

you can try to bind the RED interface inside the DHCP server relay options.

Let us know if it works.

Use a tcpdump port 67 or 68 to track DHCP requests packets.

Can you advise on how to perform a tcpdump so I can track what is happening?

You can launch tcpdump port 67 as command.

I have a DHCP Relay on my RED interface and it works fine for me.
