Backup en mode Failsafe

nice question! I think that you first have to troubleshoot why the XG went into Failsafe mode, using one of the following KB:

https://community.sophos.com/kb/en-us/125178

It depends if you are using a Sophos HW Appliance or SW/Virtual appliance.

If you have configured a backup inside the XG, you can download the backup config found in this folder:

/var/conf/backupdata

using Advanced Shell from CLI

Backup a configuration that is not working I do not know how useful will be!
