SSL VPN client with 0 Kb

Make sure all the Patterns are updated.

SSL VPN client is include in the patterns. 
It resolved my issue as you mentioned.

This is my Patterns screen. I tried to click to update, but no success.

I had the same issue.
Rebooting the appliance did the trick for me!

As lferrara said, reboot the device.
Make the update again, and give it some time to update.

After the update successfully, the VPN client can download from user portal.

By the way, do you have a valid license?

Just to clarify, is the user already created in the XG? If so, try deleting it from Authentication > Users and then re-logging into the User portal (recreates the User) and this will generate new configuration information.

I had this issue back in Copernicus and it was because I had a broken User.

I´d already recreated the user and also created other user to test but no success.

Interesting, so this happens regardless of the users used?

Could you also regenerate the Appliance Certificate under Cog > VPN > Certificates using the cog on the same line as the cert?

I also open a case at Sophos support.

the last approach is to format and install the OS again. Something went wrong during the patterns update process. Hope the Support will fix it and let us know the workaround they used.

This will help other users with the same problem.

there is a problem with 0 KB download for SSLVPN client, if you are using some special characters in the username. This issue was solved today and is part of the next maintenance release for SFOS 16.5.

Hi,

I am using a simple user name "saif" still VPN is 0 KB. I am using on Azure cloud (SFOS 16.01.1)

Tried regenerating  certificate , Clicked on pattern update few time, did not help.

any idea?
