SSL VPN client with 0 Kb

Question

Hello guys! 
 I configured SSL VPN (Remote Access) and I can login at User Portal with my user. When I try to download the SSL VPN client it appears with 0 (zero) KB. I&acute;d already try to regenerate the certificate but no success.

Make sure all the Patterns are updated. 
 
 SSL VPN client is include in the patterns. It resolved my issue as you mentioned.

Hello guys! Good news! 
 After I click 3 or 4x at System>Administration>"Update Pattern Now" the problem was solved! 
 Now I can download SSL-VPN client and configs with 116 KB.

Hi and welcome to Sophos Community, 
 Before taking any troubleshooting step try to download the SSL VPN client from different browsers. Any luck with that? 
 If not, take SSH to XG and go to option 5. > 3. Advance shell and execute, 
 service tomcat: restart -ds nosync

I try to generate a new certificate but the problem remains. 
 But fortunately i found the solution, the problem is caused by defunction of the pattern updates, sometimes the pattern updates doesn't make download of the clients correctly. The client authentication, ssl client and others belongs to Base Firewall Licensing. So if pattern updates doesn't work, the download of the clients comes with 0 Bytes. 
 The solution is copying manually the client binaries of the Sophos that is working to the respective directories in Sophos with problem. In this case via advanced shell ssh in /content. 
 In this directory there are thw following files: 
 client_auth -> /content/client_auth_2.00/1.0.0003 ( Symbolical Link of the client authentication ) 
 client_auth_2.00 ( Folder, if the download is 0 Bytes, probably this folder is empty ) 
 sslvpn -> /content/sslvpn_1.00/1.0.005 ( Symbolical Link of the SSL client authentication ) 
 sslvpn_1.00 ( Folder, if the download is 0 Bytes, probably this folder is empty ) 
 
 The way to transfer files in sophos firewall can be learned here . 
 
 obs: The binaries must be in same directory path expressed in the respective symbolical link

Hi Iferrara, 
 
 there is a problem with 0 KB download for SSLVPN client, if you are using some special characters in the username. This issue was solved today and is part of the next maintenance release for SFOS 16.5.
