Client authentication logs off during policy change.

Hi all,

I have installed Client authentication agent on client pcs.

I have noted that during policy change, from working hours policy to non working hours policy, the client authentication gets logged off, and users have to login again.

Is there a way to avoid logging users off?

I am using CR100iNG, running SFOS 15.01.0 MR-3

Any kind of help will be highly appreciated.

  • Hi All,

I just want to confirm you that this behaviour is not happening anymore on v16. Client authentication disconnect only when you close the lid. I am using Client Agent Auth on MAC.

  • I am using v16 and my clients still disconnect occasionally.  I can't say it's with a policy change, but definitely one time I restarted XG and none of the clients reconnected.

The other problem I've seen is what whenever someone logs in through CAA, their group gets reset back to the Open group.  I have repeatedly changed users groups only to discover that every time they logged into the client, their group reset.
