SFM won't sync licenses on installsf

I have a new SFM VM  installed behind and VSFOS Xg device.  I can login and do the basic config and can successfully register the device (meaning the internet is accessible) but I cannot get it to sync licenses.  It reports an failure and says contact support. Before getting on the phone, I thought I would ask if anyone here knew the answer.

  • As I cannot get into the management interface, I can only tell you it is the latest download as of two days ago.

    I am receiving the error when selecting the "Synchronize License" button on the basic setup screen displayed before running the new setup wizard.  The error message is simply the big red error box stating "Device could not be synchronize, please contact support."
