Ping client across subnet

Hi,

I have an XG -  Lan port 1 192.168.50.x

That goes to a switch, then another switch that is a separate network 172.16.1.x

I've added the route for 172.16.1.x and can ping clients in that network from 192.168.50.x

However I cannot ping clients, eg 192.168.50.10 from 172.16.1.x. I can only ping the Sophos box on 192.168.50.1

What have I missed?

    Jeremy,

    make sure that PING is enabled in the proper zone under System > Administration > Device Access.

    Is the only the ping not working? I mean if you try to reach a service, is it working? If it is not working, create a proper rule.
