Ping client across subnet

Jeremy,

make sure that PING is enabled in the proper zone under System > Administration > Device Access.

Is the only the ping not working? I mean if you try to reach a service, is it working? If it is not working, create a proper rule.

Turns out it was the asymmetric design my networks. See kb.cyberoam.com/default.asp

This should also work, I didn't have admin access to the 172. router to change its IP so had to to the CLI trick

I cant post the link it needs admin approval anyway search "asymmetric routing Sophos" in bing or something you'll see a KB from cyberoam and the cli command. The KB is Avoid Asymmetric Routing in Cyberoam
