STAS Configuration

Hi

I have the following problem:

2 Domain Controllers

1 Sophos XG

on DC1 i have the STAS Suite installed

on DC2 i have installed the STAS Agent

now whenever i trie to test connectivity between agent <=> collector i get the following message:

Test Connection Failed 

Firewall rules on the DCs are present for Ports 5566 6677 TCP/UDP

i cant find any meaningfull logs.

    STAS configuration on Active Directory requires certain ports to be open for connectivity between XG and the AD-DC server. STAS Collector installed on the AD-DC server listens on UDP Port 6677 from XG and sends Logon details back on UDP Port 6060. Thus ports to be verified:

    When two or more domain controllers; One AD-DC with STAS Suite and other AD-DC with STAS Agent installed.

    On AD, where STAS Suite is installed:

    ·        Inbound UDP 6677 port

    ·        Inbound TCP 5566 port

    ·        Outbound UDP 6060

    On AD, where STAS Agent is installed:

         .        Outbound TCP 5566 port

    Thus, the Local Firewall on the Active Directory requires the mentioned ports to be open for successful connectivity. If that doesn’t resolves the query ask the customer to reinstall STAS with Admin privileges and test the working
