is it KBps or kbps strange !

I don't think Sophos knows.  Take a close look at this KB and they are all over the place referencing KBps, Kbps, kBps and kbits:

They start by saying it in Bytes and then the example enters 512 to limit the user data rate to 512 Kbps.  Agh!

I've never seen data rates measured in Bytes per second, always bits.

as i mention my dsl modem WAN is 20239 Kbp so according to what you say when i want to config Sophos Traffic Shaping (QoS) Settings the Total Available WAN Bandwidth it would be 2529.875  kilobytes  can you confirm if i am right or wrong ?

using KB on traffic shaping is not proper the best way. KB/MB/GB are used inside the report in order to undestand how many Bytes a user/computer downloaded but for Interface traffic , it must be bits.

UTM9 is correctly using the proper measures.

exactly lferrara . and i feel it is funny to put 16 as number in KBps for shaping when i want to shape 128 kbps which is the normal way to do .
