502 Error (When HTTP scanning enabled)

Good Afternoon,

Since upgrading our XG210 to MR2, we have been experiencing frequent (but not constant) 502 errors when accessing various websites. The two that have been pointed out to me thus far are:

* http://www.bangordailynews.com
*
 http://www.amazon.com

This issue occurs whenever HTTP scanning is enabled (and thus is not an issue if we attempt to access those sites via HTTPS) and irregardless of Application / Web Filter policy applied. When error is occurring, Web Filter log still shows that the traffic is "Allowed."

Has anyone else experienced a similar issue? Besides creating destination-based rules to disable HTTP scanning for those sites, what are some potential solutions to this issue?

Best Regards,
Justin

  • I have the same problem with http Scan enabled in my default network policy firewall rule when trying to access Amazon Prime Video content.

    As soon as I disable HTTP Scan Prime works on my FireTV and the Amazon App on my phone.
