502 Error (When HTTP scanning enabled)

check if your Sophos and Avira updated correctly. Check them under System > Administration > Updates. If status is failed or downloading, you are experiencing this issue:

Hello,

We are using Sophos vUTM ver 16.01.2 in Trial period , but trial period was ower nad all licenses are expired.

This morning suddenly we came across errors http 502. When we disable the scanning HTTP in L2W rule , problem goes away.

We can not install new firmware because Sophos does not allow because of support  license is expired. After we activate the licenses ,we will check again and post the last situation.

Check #1 in my guide here, see which FW-rule ID forwards the traffic. Post pictures of this FW-rule so that I can verify the configurations. 

Now, change the malware scanning to AVIRA. Configure \ system services \ malware \ AVIRA

Restart awarrenhttp from the Advance Shell; execute: service awarrenhttp:restart -ds nosync

I’m having the same issue. With Scan HTTP enabled, I can’t access certain websites like www.apple.com. If I use the https address, it works fine. Any ideas? This is using V17-MR1.

I have a similar problem with amazon app on V17 MR1. No problem with a brower and all the amazon site are allowed.

I have the same problem with http Scan enabled in my default network policy firewall rule when trying to access Amazon Prime Video content.

As soon as I disable HTTP Scan Prime works on my FireTV and the Amazon App on my phone.

Same thing on my machine - http scan on = Amazon Prime (HD Videos) don't work http scan off = everything works fine  (SFOS 17.0.3 MR-3)
