AP100X Antennas

Hello

Sophos have a support or engineer or wireless department working in this field? or any recommendation of antennas to use with MIMO 3x3:3?

I'm trying to find some information about changing AP100X antennas to make a 5 mile distance bridge.

good question. For the distance, contact your Sophos Sales expertise. 5 miles is a big distance and consider obstacles that will reduce the distance coverage.

As you can see from https://www.sophos.com/en-us/medialibrary/PDFs/documentation/sophoswirelessoien.pdfAP100x supports 802.11a/b/g/n/ac. If you are able to retrieve maximum recommended distance, let us know.

Hello lferrara,

Other vendors have a Wifi Solution with 802.11n and the provide that kind of wifi bridge with a type of antenna that uses MIMO 2x2.

The AP100X have MIMO 3x3:3 capabilities. With the correct antenna we could make a bridge between two o more sites installing the antenna on a high building and them make a mesh and provide service remotely.

i think that this is a great solution.
