Fix for Pending Access points stuck at 'Loading'?

I added an ap 55C to my network, configured the wifi profile and plugged the AP in.  Light on it is green, the Control Center shows one as pending so I go there.

Unfortunately in the wireless Access Points page, pending access points just sits at Loading...

I've tested with firefox, Edge and IE11.

Is there a way to make this work?

  • I had the same issue, finally opened a case at sophos. They fixed my problem with implmeneting some manual changes directly in the Table tblwlap in the Postgres DB located on the Sophos Firewall.

  • Glad to hear their manual workaround actually works, now if they'd only just respond and resolve it for me I'd have a fully working system at a customer's

  • Hello, were you able to get this resolved?  Or do you basically have to call support to get the manual fix?  We have a big deployment this weekend and looks like we'll be in big trouble with the "loading" issue. (I'm seeing that too on a test environment).

    Thanks

  • They seem to have fixed it for me, though they didn't tell me what they did.

At this point you have to call support and wait for them to involve an engineer to fix manually.

  • I have the same exact issue. Anyone have a fix they can post?

    Thanks

  • Fixing it by a Sophos engineer is good if you are not a home user.

Mine is still stuck loading now for several months, but never loads. The AP55c works on the UTM9.4, need to replace it any as there is a probelm with it.

This bug has been address in the soon to be released MR-3, It doesn't help you immediately but you're not going to have to wait much longer.

I have installed MR-3 and the issue is not fixed.

  • I've got the same issue,   just upgraded to MR3 tonight,   same bug.      :-(

  • Hi Ben,

I am not sure who fed you the story but they are so far wrong it is not funny. This is supposed to be the product to replace UTM 9.4, so far it has been nothing but a joke. Very far from a serious product, a good training tool on how to use the application based logic of the future firewalls. Can't even get anti-virus etc updates everyday let alone a number of times a day.

    Hi Ian,

I'm disappointed the MR-3 update hasn't resolved your issues, it has for many. My advice would be to email support(support@sophos.com) with the problem. There's a manual fix that support can apply, emailing through a known problem is a good way to have your problem resolved fastest even if you don't have premium support.

    Cheers,

    Ben
