Ubuntu LiveCD has no issues recognizing the NICs. Is it possible to bypass the web portal license agreement on the console to do some troubleshooting?

Thanks. Accepting the eula via the console helps tremendously. It looks like my NICs are not fully recognized. They show up as unknown and run at 100mb half duplex. I tried setting them to 1000 full but it said that speed was not supported. The onboard NICs are Broadcom NetXtreme II BCM5716 GbE. I also tried an Intel 82576 GbE card but that is not even recognized by the OS. Any suggestions? The Broadcom NICs do function in Ubuntu at 1000 Mb/s so the issue does not appear to be hardware.
