Does Sophos XG allow OpenVPN Clients to Connect?

You can use any OpenVPN compatible client to connect both to UTM9 and XG. I personally use this one:

In addition to vilics answer, you can but you would have to get everyone to redownload the ovpn config file to account for the new certificates provided by the xg

You have to login to the User Portal section of XG firewall to download user specific ovpn configuration which contains both configuration and user certificate bundled in a single file.

When i log into the user portal i Download clients, but no SSL VPN. Under download clients i dont see any older os's or anything else referring to OpenVPN.

What am i doing wrong?

Rizzah,

make sure to set the proper settings and permissions to users in order to get the SSL VPN section. On the SSL VPN profile created inside the VPN area, you add "allowed networks" and users that are allowed to connect to vpn.

Make sure that the user belongs to that groups or section.
