Unable to download SSL VPN Configuration and Client

I recently upgraded Cyberoam to Sophos(SFOS 15.01.0). All went fine until I came to SSL VPN portal to download Client and Configuration. I have assigned user all required permissions and options are showing up in portal. But when I click on download It just does not do anything after that. I am unable to connect to company VPN due to this issue. Urgent help would be appreciated.

  • I have same issue. I didnt create Default CA.Please help. Thanks
  • Mete, I believe that it's an open issue with the Cyberoam that, when we upgrade the appliance from Cyberoam os to SFOS, it will stop the SSL VPN to work, i.e. they will not be able to download any configuration from the user portal.

To apply the fix for the same, you will have to get in touch with the support and tag the BUG ID as NC-5703
  • Hi Chintan/Axar,

This migration issues has been addressed in the current maintenance release MR1-1, this means the issue should not affect new migrations. However if your appliance has already been migrated you will need to reach out to support to get it fixed by them.

For new migrations when you download the Sophos Firewall OS from your MySophos Portal Account it will provide access to the latest firmware.

Details on the maintenance release can be found at https://community.sophos.com/products/xg-firewall/b/xg-blog/archive/2016/02/29/sfos-15-01-0-398-mr-1-1-released

    Edited for clarity.

    Thanks,

    Leon

  • Hi,

    today I've migrated a CR100 with HW-SFOS_15.01.0_MR-2.SF210-418.

    The SSL-VPN-Client and SSL-VPN-Config-Windows is 0 bytes.

The config for "other" and Android is at normal size.

It looks like there is another bug or could it the same?

I also tried to recreate the default dertificate, the CA and recreated the SSL-VPN, but without a chance

  • Hello Schukaroi,

We haven't been reported the same issue yet. However, you can probably try by clearing the cache on the web browser and if it doesn't get resolved by then I would strongly recommend you to contact support so that they have debug the issue further.

  • Hello Schukaroi,

I did some research on the issue that you are facing and what I could think is sslvpnclient.exe would not have been available on appliance. Request you to go ahead and run the update once by navigating to System>Administration>Updates and click on update pattern now.

Then, log in to the user portal and try download the sslvpn config/client and observed if you still have the same issue or not.

    Regards & Thanks,
