HTTP Pipelining in XG

So I have an application *cough* game *cough* that still utilizes pipelining.  I know that it is not supported in XG based off a two year old thread that's locked, but it was noted that you can create exceptions without having to resort to changing from DPI to web proxy which I would prefer to utilize DPI overall.

The thread didn't outline that I saw on how to accomplish this.

The weird part about this is - I didn't have an issue with the launcher a week or two weeks ago, or even a month ago from patching the application.  Today, it was an issue suddenly.  The launcher only contacts a single domain, so it's not a pool of DNS names, and the patch files have been the same format for years.

So is there a way, or was this 'fixed' to allow any HTTP pipeline application?  I know Netflix still does this as some other business applications.

  • Hi,

add an exception to http scanning in the web proxy exceptions. Please remember the DPI does not scan UDP traffic.

  • I added an exception (first thing I did), but it didn't work and it's TCP traffic.

I'll try adding a regex to the exception to see if that helps anything.

Well I can't add that, sees it as invalid, lol

  • Does your netflix work?

Will check my parallels access and update the thread,
