SASI and iMAPS

Hi folks,

I have been reviewing some of the junk mail I have received in an attempt to see why it is not being blocked ny the XG. Some of the messages that are addressed to me are marked as possible spam when they are really legitimate messages.

The question is does XG SASI still scan iMAPS messages?

  • Hello  ,

Thank you for reaching out to the community, That's how SPAM protection can be applied to those mails, otherwise, SPAM protection won't work for any mails.

  • Hi,

thank you of rresponding, but your answer does not clarify if SASI works with iMAPS and why some messages have a Sophos entry and others do not. Why most messages are classified as possible spam, but none identified as spam even with multiple destination addresses and some clearly spam, Norton renewal notices macfee (and many different spellings, renewal notices let alone bitcoin and failed credit card debits.
