On top of it showing the WAN as down, its always showing 25% packet loss. WHereas if I connect my laptop directly to the ISP router, the is no packet drop.

Maybe there is an MTU size problem or a Speed negotiation problem with that interface and the fiber modems?

OK, did you restart or unplug these modems from power recently?
Was there an update on the firewall system?
Why is one port on "Automatic" while the other is at "1000 Mbps - Full duplex"?

I would try setting MTU to 1300 bytes for one of these ports and then watch the reaction of that uplink.
If that helps, try the other port with that same setting.

please review each setting in the WAN manager settings in networks to see if the destinations are still active, after correcting any errors please try restarting the XG.

No, no update to the ISP router. If i directly connect to the Router via my mobile/other laptop via lan to check the connection the internet is working fine.
Also, i would mainly want to know why its not allowing me tk change the IP in the WAN link manager. Is there some config inconsistency at the backend?
