Legacy SSL VPN Sophos XG is End-of-Life (EoL): https://support.sophos.com/support/s/article/KB-000043484?language=en_US#:~:text=The%20EoL%20of%20the%20old,migrate%20as%20soon%20as%20possible.
Please uninstall legacy one and Install Sophos Connect client as per the below link :
Please download .ovpn file from user portal as the guide on above link and re import .ovpn file.

To verify your issue.
1. They CAN use the LAN resources but keeps on disconnecting? or
2. They CAN'T use LAN resources and experiencing disconnection
*Have you checked the client's log?
*FW Logs from the time frame of the issue occurrence
