MPLS GATEWAY NOT PINGING IN SOPHOS FIREWALL . MPLS LINK DOWN

I have my MPLS Link termintaed on port no. 4 of sophos XG Firewall. When i put the MPLS Line on my laptop and assign static IP Configuration ISP has given to me. i am able to ping the Gateway of MPLS . but when i try to configure it on sophos firewall .the ping to gateway shows 100% packet loss.

i have tried this ARP Command as shown below

console>sy dia uti arp sh 10.11.115.29 while 10.11.115.29 being my gateway of MPLS but  it shows this :

  • Hi Ideally ARP should have complete status and should get auto-learned. Seems that is not the case here based on the output which you shared here.

Please try to power cycle MPLS gateway router device once if possible and post that confirm the ARP status on XG again, if still, ARP is not learned then you may add the manual ARP over XG as in work around and pos that you may check and confirm the MPLS gateway status.

If it is still showing RED then please ensure the failover IP in the gateway setting is set to the correct one as per MPLS probing reachability requirement in place of any outside public IP.
