Migrated config not accepted on new XGS, asking for restore password

Hi,

I have used Sophos Migration Assistant tool to export config from SG-125 and I've got Sophos.tar file. Looks fine.

But when trying to inport into new XGS-136 via Backup & Firmware --> Backup resotre it says:

Wrong restore password or wrong file format.

I have tried "admin" and "password" and blank for restore passwords, but same story. I also tried to timport .XML via Backup & Firmware --> Import Export, but nothing happens.

Where I missed the point?

    You need to import it in the Import/Export Part. And it will take time. 

    You can see the progress in the CLI: /log/apiparser.log

    I thought so, but probably I did not wait long enough for something to happen. Will try again...

    BTW...IPSec VPN tunnel settings most probably are not migrated, as it is just flat .XML file, right?

    Hmmm... nothing happens. I waited half an hour, config is really not huge, but after reboot nothing changed.

    I was watching /log/apiparser.log and there are gozzillion of errors, see below. Might it be because Cophos Migration Assistant does not directly know XGS-136 model, but only XG-135?

    Well, I almost quit, but my friend somehow generated proper .BACKUP file, which I sucessfully resotred to new device. Looks fine, but I can only login to CLI, not to WEB. Tried to reboot, reset password via CLI...but still, cannot login via WEB interface. I also tried to reset WEB Certificate to default, but did not help.

    Any idea?

    EDIT & SOLVED: Oh, my bad...I was trying to access Web GUI via port 443, not via 4444. Aghrrrrrr.... lol.
