Sophos VPN failure after License renewal

Hello,

Does License renewal affect site to site VPN connections and any other VPN connections that might exist? I ask this because I recently renewed my Licenses for an XG310 but after that all the VPNs stopped functioning and I don't seem to be able to get a solution for that. Any help?.

Has anyone had this experience before?

  • Check "management / Licensing" if your licence is accepted.

    For VPN you need the "network protection".

  • Thanks Dirk for your response. Network protection indicates it is subscribed but VPN still doesn't work.

  • Do you use SG or XG firewall?

    On XG licence sync works? 

    With a cluster, you should try to fail over.

    SSL or IPSec VPN ... remote access or S2S?

    Some VPN-messages ? (with XG you have to capture them from CLI)
