RED20 WiFi unavailable if RED was previously configured without WiFi

How can I enable a WiFi module in a RED20 that has been configured in XG without WiFi?

This has been asked here but I do not find a solution there.

We have several REDs that are offline for days before they come back. It's not an option that all RED that are currently offline get deleted automatically by this option:

Automatic device deauthorization: To automatically remove RED appliances' authorization when they remain disconnected from Sophos Firewall for the specified time

  • I created a case and after they performed

"Basically, I just performed the unbound(de-attached) activity for the concerned RED device."

I deleted and recreated the RED device on XG and the AP was showing up.

I'm having difficulties to understand what they acually did.
