Synchronized with server failed - licence issue

Hello, 

we want to synchronize the license of our XG Firewall. When we want to execute this synchronization the message "Synchronized with server failed" appears. Which setting or logs do we need to check here.

The firewall has a working connection to the Internet.

    Please share the current firmware version as well Please go to Configure --->Network --->DNS and check Test Name Lookup test and share the output 

    Check the /log/licensing.log

  • I try to test to the name lookup to ebay. But thers is no entry. 

    I also attached the licensing.log

    Suspecting issue with dns set on firewall 

    Please change DNS on firewall under Configure—>Network—> DNS 

    8.8.8.8

    1.1.1.1

    firewall local ip  and click on save and click on test name nslookup and check "eu-prod-utm.soa.sophos.com" is getting resolved or not share the lookup output with logs

    Also check Default Certificate is filled up by navigating to Certificate --->Certificate  Authorities click on "Default" fill details if not updated yet 

    output from my Lab Sophos XG:
