mime type checking seems not to be working

Possible the filetype don#t match? Which file do you send?(.doc = application/msword)

The document was a Word document with the .docm extensiion. It contains a macro that is capable of executing commands once activated.

I have similar issue with other extensions.

Nope, it stil doesn't seem to function correctly.

SFOS and UTM uses true file type detection by SAVI. Which means, the file will be analysed on multiple levels. 

You should create a feedback loop on the top, if you have a example file, which is not detected as you expect it should. 

LuCar Toni could you explain what you mean with the feedback loop and how to configure it, please?

Do you see this issue on V19.0 EAP, then create a feedback on the webadmin top right side.
If you are on V18.5, you should create a support case.

Just tested with a new MS Word test document that contained a macro, got the expected result.

Macro containing file got filtered out and got replaced with a text file containing:
" MIME-Filter has removed this attachment
Filtered by file name extension: Doc6.docm" 

So, it seems to be working for me now.

So you're still on 18.5 and it's working now?

I'm on 18.5.3 mr 3 and it is working now. 

So, what you are saying is that something was updated, but who knows what?

Are you seeing any X-SASI- tags in the EMLs?
