Backup via cli

Thank you for contacting the Sophos Community.

To create a backup via the CLI you can run the following command from the Advanced Shell.

#opcode system_backup -ds nosync

The backup location would be under /var/conf/backupdata

which one of you sophos forum legends is going to make a script you can load with external IPs and passwords, and it then cycles through the list, generates a backup, uploads it to an FTP and also uploads a log file of any backups that failed?

Why? This is completely done in Central ;) 

  i did put a new post up explaining a few more details but I'm afraid it got removed for.... abuse (apparently)

You posted more insights in your own thread. 

I did, would appreciate a PM in relation to how it was deemed abuse. I'm not going to fight it, would just appreciate the education so I can approach things better in the future.
