IPSEC connect - remote access - not working from LAN zone

Due to Technological limitation and IPSEC architecture you would not be able to connect from LAN .

Instead You can try with SSL VPN . It should definitely work as per my test.

You are corret SSL vpn works but it has been discontinued by sophos if I remember correctly in favour of Ipsec remote access with sophos connect.

no, only the "good,old open-VPN Clienst" is EOL.

Sophos connect using SSL (openvpn) stay current.
