INTERNET CONNECTIVITY TIMEOUT ON MY SOPHOS XG135

Good Day,

Please I have sophos XG135 Device which have been Configured for use in the Office. Computers in the office connects to it through LAN Cable and wireless access points . Users were uploaded from the cyberoam device to it. Every user make use of their Login to access the Internet. At some point, computers would not be able to access the internet . A ping from any of the system to the default gateway of the sophos used to reply.

How do I overcome this challenge.

Thank you for contacting the Sophos Community.

When the issue is happening are you seeing a Ping reply from the LAN or WAN interface or a Public IP such as 8.8.8.8 from one of the devices that lose internet access?

Yes. Am seeing reply from the interface ip from the sophos which is part of my LAN

Hello Johnson,

Thank you for the update, what about the WAN or Public IP?

Does this affects also users that don't use authentication or only authenticated users?

When the issue happens next, can you do a GUI Packet Capture using the IP of one of the computers and pinging an IP such as 8.8.8.8 to see what the XG says about the traffic.

It affects both the authenticated and unauthenticated users.
