XG210 in failsafe mode...

Hello, I got locked out from the XG210 GUI and had to console into the FW to remove two NAT rules, via the console commands.

"psql.... "

I've just rebooted the FW and could get in via the GUI fine. I happened to get into console from the GUI(top right > console) and noticed the machine is now running in failsafe mode.

I checked with "show failure-reason" and the FW returned Unable to run NAT rules.

Is there a way to get out of the failsafe mode on console without clearing all configuration?

Incidentally I have saved the FW configuration before running the NAT rules. Can i jsut overwrite the borked configuration?

    Hi ,

Thank you for reaching out to Sophos Community.

It is not recommended to delete/remove the configuration from the database as it has multiple connections with other tables/entities.

Try rebooting the appliance and see if boots correctly or not. If this doesn't work then I'd suggest exporting selective configuration from Backup & firmware > Import-export, reset/restore the appliance to default, and import configuration back.
