EMail Server is getting wrong ip while sending email.

hi,
i have XG210 (SFOS 17.5.12 MR-12.HF062020.1) C23076VG32R9J98, i have three ISPs on port2, port3 and port 8.
i have email server in DMZ of firewall. there is business rule to scan smtp and smtps traffic, rule id is 83 and it is on the top.
in advanced section of the rule in routing section
i checked the checkbox Rewrite source address (masquerading). in backup i selected none.
in outbound address i configued ip address of my ISP that is terminated at port3.
now when i see logs i can see against that email scanneing rule (Rule ID=83) sometime it takes ip address of Port2
sometime it takes ip from port3, and sometimes port8. while in business rule i only selected ip add of port3.
due to this my emails are rejected.

please advise.

  • Check your NAT rules.

i Think in v17 you have a linked nat rule .. created with the business rule.

Check rule order, first match wins ... so the default masquerading rule should be plated below the mail-nat-rule.

Possible within log-viewer you can see the used NAT-rule.

Sorry, I have problems with Ver17 ... never really used.

Screenshot of NAT-Rules may help us.
