Hi manel Ammar: Thank you for contacting Sophos community team..! You may connect the device with a serial console and RESET your password as per the below steps.
Sophos Firewall: Reset the admin password

Section: Via Console (SFOS 17.5 and later)
Once you managed to RESET the password, enter it in the console of XG and check the network Interfaces status and their IP via the below command from the console.
console> sh network Interfaces
Also device over console showing any other status or message then share it here, so we may guide you based on that for next steps.
thank you for your answer, i do not have a console cable for the moment but i dont think my sophos is 17.5 version ..what to do then to reset through console, because as what i have ,i can only reset to factory defaults by console.
Hi manel Ammar : The shared KBA covers all scenarios, In case your appliance is not running with version (SFOS 17.5 and later) version then there is other steps there which is "Via SFLoader" which is also covered in the same KBA.
now i managed to get the IP address of my firewall XG 115, and can access it by putty through ssh connection but of course i do not have the admin password ,is there any way from here to reset the admin password.
n.b : when i enter the ip address of my firewall through web it returnsto me with this page cannot be accessed
