sophos xg firewall-do not have either the IP of my firewall or the password admin

basically i could not access the web admin or anything else.

  • Hi : Thank you for contacting Sophos community team..! You may connect the device with a serial console and RESET your password as per the below steps.

    Sophos Firewall: Reset the admin password

    Section: Via Console (SFOS 17.5 and later)

    Once you managed to RESET the password, enter it in the console of XG and check the network Interfaces status and their IP via the below command from the console.

    console> sh network Interfaces

    Also device over console showing any other status or message then share it here, so we may guide you based on that for next steps.
