Sophos XG 18 - Web conferencing interruptions

Hello everyone,

We have one configuration for one of our customer that encounter interruption during web meeting (teams - alfaset - jitsi and so on..) .

We are using dpi engine and we have disabled IPS and application control.

Do you have any ideas of what could cause this behavior?

We have to close the meeting and come back again.

Until today no traffic shapping was applied.

This evening I enabled the hig guaranteed User for VIP users .

    Hi,

    the web proxy is preferable to the DPI for video conferencing especially if your software is not using HTTPS for connections. You can also setup exceptions which should be used by DPI and web proxy.

    Hi, we have created excpetion

    but  there is a lot URL and it seems that we don't cover all. 

    Even with URL we have listed we have issues.

    If we use the policy check we can see that the excpetion is applied.

    Hi,

    I am a home user but do use and setup zoom meetings through my XG.

    I have added a number of ports to my ZOOM rule which are not https based and also allowed icmp.

    I have also enabled applications - allow all and my own IPS to facilitate reporting on connections.
