SNMP problem after FW upgrade

Hello,


I recently upgraded our Sophos XG firewalls to version 18.0.4 MR-4 and after the reboot I could not see the ports traffic through SNMP.

I still can see other information like CPU and Memory and this happened in all Sophos Firewalls we use after that upgrade.

Nothing seems misconfigured after the upgrade.


Any ideas?

    I also tried to remove and add again Sophos firewall to the network management system without making any difference

    Hello Minas,

    what kind of management System are you using. We are using PRTG and the SNMP Sensor is working well in 18.0 MR-4 (updated from 17.5).
    Did you upgrade from 17.5.x to 18.x? Then maybe the structure has changed and your management system needs new MIBs.

    Hello Bernd,

    Thanks for answering. I am using Observium NMS, but that was not the problem. I finally figured it out!

    I had to go to Administration -> SNMP and press Apply under Agent Configuration. The SNMP agent checkbox was already checked so it was not making sense doing that but it worked.
