Sophos XG 430 LCD with XG Home Firewall Installes

Has anyone found a way to enable the LCD on the Sophos XG 310 Rev2 or XG 430 Rev1 hardware devices when running XG Home Firewall?
I have both since we changed to Fortigate and want to use either for my home.

The LCD would just be a nice extra.

    Hello Fred,

    Thank you for contacting the Sophos Community!

    I would suggest checking if the lcdd service is running or if you find any clue in the lcd.log, but most likely since the XG will treat it as Software, probably the LCD won’t work.

    I’ve just purchased a used XG310 to replace the god awful Ubiquiti UDM Pro I talked myself into... I’ll be getting my hands dirty in the coming weeks trying to make my device function properly as a hardware device with a home license. It almost certainly can be done... I just wish some of the folks at Sophos would help us out by allowing us to fully utilize the HARDWARE they sell... I’m not asking for full support or anything just the ability to use the device as intended...

    It certainly can and has been done, but will be wiped out at the next MR installation.
