XG WAF stops working without error

Hi all,

we have an XG330 (SFOS 18.5). It now happens 3 times within the last 3 weeks that the WAF stops doing its job.

System Service->Services-> Status of the service is "running".

Stop/start the service and all is fine again.

The WAF log stops logging without any error last night.

Control Center is without any hint.

Any idea?

    #ls -larth /var/cores 

    Is there any segfault observed in syslog.log.

    #grep segfault  /log/syslog.log

    What is the current version of V18 your appliance running with?

    Please also open a support case for further investigation as this may required some advance debugging with required services in debug mode.

    we are using 18.04 MR-4 (actual).

    ls -larth /var/cores results one file: core.httpd

    grep segfault /log/syslog.log -> nothing.

    support case is opened.

  • HI  : Thanks for sharing firmware version (18.04 MR-4) - I was bit confused with firmware details as your initial information containing (SFOS 18.5) - But now it is clear to me. Please DM me case ID details for reference and can do the needful to have progress.

    Would it be possible to share output of #ls -larth /var/cores here?
