Getting access denied on specific websites

I am trying to access a safe website  (https://us.louisvuitton.com/eng-us/homepage) I keep getting the error access denied: You don't have permission to access "">us.louisvuitton.com/.../homepage" on this server.

Reference #18.4da42b17.1607572983.8435d22

I have removed all web filter policies from my outbound firewall rule - flushed the dns cache, rebooted the firewall and still no luck.

I can ping and traceroute to the website internally

I just set up this firewall a few days ago (this is a personal home firewall running sophos xg home)

Thanks in advance for the help

  • Hello Cab0053,

Thank you for contacting the Sophos Community!

I was also able to access behind 3 different XGs.

As mentioned by rfcat_vk, please provide a screenshot of your Firewall rule.

Also, try enabling debug for awarrenhttp from the Advanced Shell of the XG (5>3)

    # service awarrenhttp:debug -ds nosync

Once it is in debug check the

    # /log/awarrenhttp_access.log

This is if you are using the Webfiter, it might give you some clues, if the XG is blocking something (not likely)

Also, try creating an exception for the website under Protect >> Web >> Exceptions.

    Regards,
