Mails blocked as spam by Sophos XG Firewall

Hello,

We recently migrated email from on-prem exchange server to O365.

If mail scanning is enabled on the firewall, the hybrid will not be able to communicate with the on-prem but if disabled, it does but mails will not get delivered.

I checked and noticed mails are kept for quarantine but after releasing those mails, they still did not get delivered to their respective recipients.

Kindly help.
