Need Help, Setup Hyper-V with 8+ NIC for Sophos XG 17.5.14

Hi,

is there any recommendation for a hyper-V setup with SFOS 17.5.14 or 18 with 8+ NIC´s

I need to restore a Backup from an old SG210 r1 Hardware (No Flex Modules).
I had this once working, but now i can´t connect to 172.16.16.16 anymore.

After a reboot of the SFOS it´s possible to ping 172.16.16.16 for a few seconds and then the appliance breaks away.

I want to get a clean setup for testing.

Is a Legacy NIC better than Network Adapter for the internal LAN?

Will XG 18 work with 8+ NIC?

    how are you setting up the Guest as I feel that is where you are going wrong..

    I have a similar issue and there were a couple of work arounds, I don't have the docs to hand but will remember them when I know your vm config
